Back in 2015, Volaire® started as a passion project between a few friends. As stylists and product junkies, we were obsessed with all things hair and were never fully satisfied with the stuff on the shelves. Everything claimed to be “repairing” or “volumizing” but nothing really lived up to the hype. We knew we could create better.
Armed with ambition and a whole lot of research, we set out to develop salon-quality products that actually deliver. It took many late nights, early mornings, and more than a few kitchen experiments, but after 2 years of testing and tweaking, we finally perfected our line.
In 2017, Volaire® officially launched with 5 products we were truly proud of:
- Volumizing Shampoo – Gently cleanses while adding thickness & body
- Smoothing Conditioner – Hydrates, softens, & tames frizz
- Strengthening Mask – Repairs damage & protects hair
- Texturizing Sea Salt Spray – Adds beachy waves with a matte finish

Right away, our products developed a cult following among stylists who loved how they actually delivered on their claims. We also earned rave reviews from everyday customers who were tired of losing the battle against flat, damaged hair.
Spurred on by this enthusiastic response, we kept expanding the Volaire® line. We carefully filled gaps in the market, creating products that cater to specific hair needs and concerns.
